At Attuned, trust is foundational to meaningful personal growth. Information shared in reflective or personal contexts deserves clarity, care, and respect. This Privacy Policy explains how Attuned Wellbeing LLC (“Attuned,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you visit our website, contact us, or participate in our coaching services.

By accessing or using our website or services, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. Who This Policy Applies To

This Privacy Policy applies to:

  • Visitors to the Attuned website

  • Individuals who contact Attuned using email addresses listed on the website

  • Individuals who schedule discovery sessions using third-party scheduling tools referenced on the website

  • Coaching clients participating in sessions, reflections, assessments, or digital tools

  • Communications via email, scheduling platforms, and video calls

Attuned’s services are intended for adults (18+) located in the United States. Children are not permitted to access the Attuned website or services.

If you are located outside the United States, you expressly consent to the transfer to the U.S. of any information you share through the Attuned website or services.

2. What Information We Collect

A. Information You Voluntarily Provide

The Attuned website itself does not accept or process user-submitted content.

You may choose to share information with Attuned through channels that operate outside the website’s technical infrastructure, including email, third-party scheduling tools, or during coaching services. Information you may voluntarily provide includes:

Contact Information

  • Name

  • Email address

  • Phone number (optional)

  • City or time zone (optional)

Self-Reported Reflections & Assessments
You may choose to share subjective reflections, numeric self-ratings, and written context across well-being areas such as sleep, movement, nutrition, routine, connection, finances, environment, mindfulness, and purpose. These inputs are:

  • Self-reported

  • Optional

  • Non-diagnostic

  • Reflective in nature

Attuned does not collect or store objective health metrics, clinical data, or objective financial metrics such as income, debt balances, transactions, credit scores, or account numbers.

Coaching Conversations
During coaching sessions or written communication, you may voluntarily share personal context relevant to your goals or reflections. Sharing is always optional and client-directed.

Sensitive Personal Information
While reflection may involve personal or emotional topics, Attuned is not a medical or clinical service. Please do not share medical diagnoses, medical history, clinical records, or protected health information (PHI).

Attuned coaches do not store or track objective financial metrics such as income, debt balances, transactions, credit scores, or account numbers. Only client-generated, subjective reflections are collected. 

B. Information Automatically Collected (Website Only)

When you browse the Attuned website, limited technical information may be automatically collected, such as:

  • IP address

  • Browser or device type

  • General usage data and timestamps

  • Aggregate site performance metrics

This information is used solely to maintain site security and improve website performance. It does not include reflective content, coaching data, or client-entered information.

C. Communication & Session Data

Depending on your engagement with Attuned, we may process:

  • Email correspondence

  • Scheduling confirmations via third-party platforms

  • Coaching sessions conducted via video call

Coaching sessions are recorded only with explicit written consent from all participants.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use information in a manner consistent with the context in which it was shared.

Primary Uses

  • Communicate with you regarding Attuned offerings

  • Deliver coaching services you request

  • Support reflective conversations and goal-setting

Reflective Summaries & Observational Insights

Information may be used to generate reflective summaries or observational themes to support coaching conversations. These summaries:

  • Are non-diagnostic

  • Do not evaluate or assess risk

  • Do not predict outcomes

  • Do not replace professional judgment

Product & Service Improvement

De-identified and aggregated data may be used internally for program development, including:

  • Improving educational content and program structure

  • Understanding usage patterns in the aggregate (not individually)

4. Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Attuned may use AI-assisted tools to support internal workflows, such as summarizing sessions or identifying high-level themes for coaching support.

We apply strict safeguards:

  • Identifiable personal data is not shared with AI-assisted tools

  • AI tools do not make independent decisions about eligibility, services, or outcomes

You may opt out of AI-assisted summaries at any time by notifying us in writing.

5. What We Do Not Do

To be clear, Attuned does not:

  • Sell personal information

  • Share data for targeted advertising

  • Provide medical, mental health, financial, or legal treatment

  • Make automated decisions with legal, clinical, or material consequences

  • Monitor communications or reflections in real time

  • Assume responsibility to identify distress, harm, or emergencies

6. Third-Party Services

To operate effectively, Attuned relies on trusted third-party platforms that process data on our behalf, such as:

  • Google Workspace (Email, Drive, Calendar, Meet)

  • Squarespace (website hosting and analytics)

  • Google Analytics (website performance only)

These providers operate under their own privacy policies. We limit access to the minimum necessary and de-identify data where feasible. We do not sell information to third parties.

7. Data Retention, Ownership & Control

We retain information:

  • While you are an active client, and

  • For up to 24 months after your last interaction, unless deletion is requested or required by law

Clients retain ownership of all self-reported reflections and content they choose to share. Attuned acts solely as a service provider with limited rights to process such data for coaching and operational purposes consistent with this Policy.

You may request deletion of your information at any time. Requests are typically fulfilled within 45 days.

De-Identified Data

When personal information is deleted at a client’s request, Attuned will remove or anonymize identifiable data in accordance with applicable law.

Attuned may retain and use de-identified, aggregated information that cannot reasonably be linked back to an individual for internal learning, program improvement, and research purposes. Such data does not identify any individual and is not used to make decisions about specific clients.

8. Security Measures

We implement reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including:

  • Encrypted cloud storage

  • Password-protected accounts

  • Multi-factor authentication

  • Role-based access controls

Client data stored in Google Workspace is access-restricted to the client and their assigned coach.  

Client-entered data is stored on encrypted Google Workspace servers, with encryption applied both in transit and at rest.

No system is completely secure. If a material data breach occurs, we will notify affected individuals in accordance with applicable law.

9. Your Privacy Rights (California & U.S.)

If you are a California resident, you may have the right to:

  • Access personal information we hold

  • Request deletion or correction

  • Limit use of sensitive personal information

  • Opt out of sale or sharing (Attuned does not sell data)

We respond within 45 days and do not discriminate against individuals who exercise privacy rights.

California “Shine the Light” Notice: Attuned does not share personal information for third-party marketing purposes.

10. Cookies & Analytics

The Attuned website uses cookies through Squarespace and Google Analytics to understand site performance.

You may disable cookies through your browser settings. Doing so may affect site functionality.

We do not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals.

11. Binding Arbitration & Waiver of Class Actions

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of California.

Any dispute related to this Policy will be resolved through binding arbitration in Los Angeles County, California. You waive the right to participate in class actions.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Attuned evolves. The effective date will be updated accordingly. Continued use of the Attuned website or services constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
