For most of my adult life I quietly struggled with anxiety, depression, and an unhealthy addiction to professional achievement - eventually burning out in my early 30s. By then, I spent nearly a decade in weekly talk therapy and read countless self-help books. These helped, but something still felt missing.
I kept coming back to two unanswered questions:
(1) How can I objectively measure mental health?
(2) What can I do outside of talk-therapy to support my mental health?
So in 2022, I set out to build my own perspective. I quickly came to understand that mental health is built on a foundation of well-being. So I spent the next two years immersing myself in both Western and Eastern wellness practices—including a year living in the Eastern Hemisphere. These experiences led me to identify nine core life domains that shape well-being - from sleep and movement to connection and purpose. Together they became the foundation for the Attuned model: a whole-person, integrated approach to well-being.
Attuned was built to help people bridge the gap between reflection and action. We bring together our whole-person approach, purpose-built technology to drive insights and measure growth, and human-centered coaching to foster sustainable change.
I’ve come to believe that good mental health is one of life’s greatest gifts — and that it’s built on a foundation of everyday well-being. That’s what drives Attuned: making well-being more accessible, so more people can thrive from the inside-out.
